I assume your calendar is part of some cloud service provider. If so, use the provider to create the event; emails with the event details usually are automatically sent by the provider, you don't need to worry about that.
If there is no cloud provider, it is you who need to generate an event in some well known format such as ical. Then, these are just text filea which you can email yourself.
Mu4e doesn't generate calendar events. At most, it presents event invitation in a nice manner and lets you RSVP by sending an automatic reply email, but there is no calenar events creation or management in mu4e.
