Which Emacs package to get for Wayland on Arch?

*emacs-gcc-wayland-devel-bin 28.0.91.151565-1 (GNU Emacs. Development native-comp branch and pgtk branch combined, served as a binary.)* *emacs-pgtk-native-comp-git 29.0.50.154614-1 (An unofficial fork combining the development branch of GNU Emacs (including native compilation) with the new rendering engine PGTK.)* *emacs-git 29.0.50.154805-1 (Development branch of GNU Emacs. As of June 2021, it includes support for native compilation merged from the Emacs' branch:* *feature/native-comp* *)* so emacs-git is the official development branch but it only includes native compile feature. emacs-gcc-wayland-devel-bin and emacs-pgtk-native-comp-git seem to include native compile AND pgtk (pure gtk which is what is needed to run emacs as a native wayland app), so between these two, which should i pick? which one are people running for using emacs natively on wayland?

>so emacs-git is the official development branch but it only includes native compile feature That's not correct. Upon viewing the [PKGBUILD](https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=emacs-git#n49), it does include an option for PGTK

I'm running the emacs-pgtk-native-comp-git with swaywm and it's working great.

Can confirm, it was what I used for Emacs before switching to Fedora. You just have to edit the PKGBUILD to reflect your configuration choices before running `makepkg`.

This, I did the same thing

I use `emacs-gcc-wayland-devel-bin` to avoid compilation
