view-lossage shows the last 300 inputs. This isn't enough for me. How do I increase this history?

Maybe I'm just being dumb, but I've looked in various places in the emacs docs, manuals, and online, and cannot find where an associated variable exists (if it does). It seems like such a number is arbitrary and should be user-configurable.

`M-x apropros lossage` returns: Type RET on a type label to view its full documentation. kmacro-edit-lossage Command: Edit most recent 300 keystrokes as a keyboard macro. lossage-size Command: Return or set the maximum number of keystrokes to save. view-lossage Command: Display last few input keystrokes and the commands run. Properties: event-symbol-element-mask event-symbol-elements modifier-cache Looks like it was added in emacs 28 (you should include the version you are running in your questions, by the way): https://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/emacs.git/commit/etc/NEWS?id=23a3333b3ef0768f48f64f382ee899050b6103be

There should be a *user option* for this, not just a command. Or a defvar, so code, which code can bind. (Requested more than once by more than one user over the years. Took a long time to just get the hard-coded limit of 100 increased to a limit of 300.)
