Set all unread emails as read with Mu4e

The faux-polling via sleep is unfortunate and seems like it could fail unexpectedly. Is there not an appropriate hook or condition you could look for to avoid that? I'd even go as far to suggest advising functions over polling like that.

Great point. I just hacked my way through without polishing. Actually, I don't seem to find a hook, but your advising seems smart: do you mean to create an advice to add a hook in the mu4e function I need? That seems fancy!

I'm not familiar enough with mu4e's source to say what the best approach will be. I would look for something low level to see if there is a way to programmatically mark those messages without hitting the GUI first. If not, then you can always use advice to bend things to your will.
