How to set half increment font size in (Doom) Emacs?

I'm struggling to set the correct font size in Emacs. In Doom, CMD +/- increases/decreases the font size, but the font size is never the same as that of VSCode or iterm - it is either a bit too large or a bit too small. I'm setting the font size as: (setq doom-font (font-spec :family "Menlo" :size 12) doom-variable-pitch-font (font-spec :family "Monaco") ; inherits `doom-font''s :size doom-unicode-font (font-spec :family "Courier New" :size 12) doom-big-font (font-spec :family "monospace" :size 19)) Which is same setting as that of VSCode, but VSCode font size appears to be a bit smaller than Emacs (which I prefer). Any tips on how to make the font sizes same? I'm on Emacs 28.05 native on MacOS Monterey. Thanks in advance!

Try setting their `:size` to a float value. E.g. `12.0`, `11.5`, or `12.5`
