I am preparing deleting some buffers in buffer list. But when i move to some buffer, after a short time it automatically jumps to the beginning. I dont think i have set this behavior. Where should i start debugging? Thanks!
[it behaves like this, no key was pressed, the cursor automatically moved to the top](https://i.redd.it/mpm28f8ghpj81.gif)

Same here. So thats the default behavior.

If i want to do some operations, i should be able to make cursor be wherever i want it to be. Do you know how to achieve such function? If i pressed multiple D to delete buffers, after a short time all flags automatically disappeared because of the automatic moving cursor.

Well, best fix I can think of, is to use `ibuffer` instead of `list-buffers`. Which you also can do much more with `ibuffer`.

great method, thanks!

It's not, it's because of auto revert mode.

You want:
(add-to-list 'global-auto-revert-ignore-modes 'Buffer-menu-mode))
Though external packages like Bufler or Ibuffer also seem good.

Ok good to know. Thank you!
