I installed csharp-mode from Melpa.
I don't have csharp-mode hooks enabled in my dot emacs, so I open a ".cs" file, and then type "M-x csharp-mode". I get this error:
Symbol’s chain of function indirections contains a loop: R-mode
Syntax highlighting does NOT occur (except for strings and comments, for some reason). However, the mode line does say that csharp-mode IS activated for the file.
I don't understand why R-mode is involved with this process at all. I do have ESS installed.
