hey guys, i have an agenda custom command that looks like this
(
(tags-todo TODO=\"DONE\""
((org-agenda-overriding-header "done tasks ") (org-agenda-prefix-format "%l"))))
this is supposed to show the agenda entries that have TODO state of done
but this isnt the case, i cant display any DONE tasks in the agenda
my emacs version is : 28.0.50
my org mode version is: 9.4.4

Don't you think that is the right thing org is doing by NOT showing DONE task on the agenda? It is not suppose to show that on agenda.
If you really force it show , the you are simply defying the purpose of DONE and you need to reschdule it again to show up in the agenda.
Think about it. Once DONE then it is done..what's point of showing it on the agenda??
Either you archive it on the same file or put the archive on different file. So , you can retrieved it lated if you need that.
In gist , to show somehting on agenda , schedule it .Think of it , agenda is a kinda reminder.

i mean i kinda like to keep track of done tasks in the agenda instead of going back and forth to the org file. but thanks anyway this saved me a lot of time searching for a solution.

What’s `org-agenda-skip-scheduled-if-done` set to?

According to some folks in [this thread](https://emacs.stackexchange.com/questions/27289/org-agenda-matching-multiple-todo-keywords-in-custom-commands), `tags-todo`only matches active entries. Try using `todo “DONE”` instead? (Can’t not use curly quotes on my phone so you probably want to make sure to replace accordingly)

I agree with other commenters, that the agenda should not show DONE tasks by default (it is supposed to show you what you need to do in the future; the latin word "agenda" translates to "things to be done")
Anyway, you could use the agenda-log-mode to show you everything you have marked as DONE in the past. Just
```
M-x org-agenda-log-mode
```
while in the agenda view

I am trying to get DONE to show up as well, at least DONE in the last N days. I am trying to make a sprint board using org-super-agenda, and on a sprint board, you want to see the DONE tasks that belong to the current sprint.
I can't figure out any way to do it.
