I created a theme for Doom based on the default [Lighttable](http://lighttable.com/) theme
1. Grab a copy from [here](https://gist.github.com/ensudo/9771095b05319e73a3b13ca2faaef500)
2. Copy the theme file to *\~/.doom.d/themes/doom-lighttable-theme.el*
3. Update your *\~/.doom.d/config.el* with: `(setq doom-theme 'doom-lighttable)`
4. reload.
It is still a WIP but I use it every day with no issues. I plan on creating a merge request to the main doom themes repo once I find time. Any feedback would be cool :)

Neat.
I'll try it out.

For what it's worth here is my subjective opinion:
I tried out a few different modes and saw 4 different colors being used.
Here is what I would recommend. Change the background to be slightly darker, and rather than using the pale blue for comments set them to be a light gray.
That will help the softer color palette pop a little more and make everything easier to distinguish from each other.

Thanks! I darkened the background. Noticed I was not using the same bg colour of the original Lighttable theme.
Comments are same colour as the original Lighttable theme.
I added a complementary violet to the palette. Currently working on adding additional colours for the UI. Don't want it to start looking like a fireworks show :)

Nice!
To add some context to my original content:
I'm not a Lighttable user so I only looked at some images to familiarize myself with what you were going for.
Also, I tend to prefer somewhat vibrant color schemes so take my opinions with a grain of salt.
