How to auto wrap long lines in eww buffers?

I've tried a few things which never worked. I've `global-visual-line-mode 1` in my init.el which works everywhere except in eww buffers :/ I currently manually run `toggle-truncate-lines` in eww buffers in order to wrap the long lines. Anyone knows how to set eww-mode buffers to auto wrap the long lines? GNU Emacs 29.0.50

Weird thing I've just noticed. If I load my init file while being in the eww buffer then the long lines get wrapped. Anybody has an idea why eww buffers would behave like that?

eww uses shr to render, try changing `shr-max-width` and/or `shr-width`.
