buggy behavior in `mc/mark-all-*-like-this` variants of multiple-cursors

[multiple-cursors](https://github.com/magnars/multiple-cursors.el) issue tracker is closed and before continuing to troubleshoot the issues the mark-all-\*-like-this variants are giving me when i use them from this [hydra](https://github.com/abo-abo/hydra/wiki/multiple-cursors) wanted to check if anybody else has seen these or has any hints (i tried adding one of the offending commands, e.g. \`mc/mark-all-symbols-like-this-in-defun\` to both of the variables in \`mc-lists.el\` to no avail) - the issue is that it tends to give me an extra cursor, and sometimes bug out with error message: [mc] problem in ‘mc/execute-this-command-for-all-cursors’: Marker does not point anywhere but the issue inside \`mc/execute-this-command-for-all-cursors-1\` hasn't stood out to me yet..i'm on a very recent version \`20211112.2223\` which seems to be as of the lastest commit to its repo

Can you give a minimal reproducible example? I.e. some text, the major mode you're in, and the exact commands you're running?

I found the issue - I had set ‘mc/always-run-for-all t’ once I set that back to its default of nil the hydra works like a charm!
