Emacs DAP mode config

rogersjpandre · 2022-02-15 06:46
Hey I have been trying to set up a vscode like debug experience and I feel like I am close but not there yet. I want to be able to debug JS, TS, C/C++, Rust and Go. This is my config https://github.com/andrerogers/dotfiles/blob/master/.cfg/emacs/emacs.el Any help in modifying this to ensure I'm using lsp and dap correctly for the above languages, and to the best of its current ability, would be much appreciated. Thank you.

For JS and CPP there are a step by step tutorials here: * [https://emacs-lsp.github.io/lsp-mode/tutorials/CPP-guide/](https://emacs-lsp.github.io/lsp-mode/tutorials/CPP-guide/) * [https://emacs-lsp.github.io/lsp-mode/tutorials/reactjs-tutorial/](https://emacs-lsp.github.io/lsp-mode/tutorials/reactjs-tutorial/)

Is there something like this, but for Python?

This works with Python: https://emacs-lsp.github.io/dap-mode/page/configuration/#python

There is this: https://github.com/emacs-lsp/lsp-mode/pull/2237 FWIW I am planning to write tutorials for Java and Rust.

Thank you. Been so bogged down with work, haven't had a chance to do this. Know of any good UI packages that give a similar UI UX?
yyoncho · 2022-02-18 17:31
similar to what?

VS Code

I am not aware of such package (part of the reason I created dap-mode).
