**SOLVED**
I just freshly installed doom emacs, and it loads, but doom sync does not work. I'm running Ubuntu 20.04.03 LTS. When I try doom-sync, it says:
`Command 'doom' not found`
I added ~/.emacs.d to my PATH, nothing changes.
I have both a .emacs.d folder and a .doom.d folder in my home directory, am I supposed to have both? I don't want to try deleting one just in case it messes things up.
I also tried navigating to ~/.emacs.d/bin and tried running doom sync in there, but nothing changes.
Thanks.
Edit: Maybe I'm adding it to PATH wrong?
I'm putting `export PATH="~/.emacs.d/bin:$PATH"` in my .bashrc
Edit 2: **Solved**. I didn't know I had to run `source ~/.bashrc` after editing .bashrc.
