``` (advice-add 'tetris :around (lambda (_) (message "Stop playing Tetris, you asshole"))) ```
pwnedary · 2022-01-31 17:37
Using `:around` instead of `:override` smh.
sierrawhiskeyfoxtrot · 2022-01-31 18:33
Couldn't you do something like ``` (defun tetris (&rest _) (error "Stop playing Tetris!")) ```
nv-elisp · 2022-01-31 20:52
(defalias 'tetris #'[wordel](https://www.github.com/progfolio/wordel))
I mean first there would be the problem that that function is not interactive, second you can't override a function name as that can cause a namespace error (you get a void variable error if you do so) advice is a better overall solution
sierrawhiskeyfoxtrot · 2022-01-31 22:19
You're right on the interactivity, though I'm not sure I understand what you're saying about overriding causing a namespace error/void variable error.
LemonBreezes · 2022-01-31 23:30
Also, when you redefine, you lose access to the location/documentation of the original function.
10m accounts just for nintendo 2019 game. Many android apps with 10m downloads. Fits block puzzle jewel genre.
