Hello all. Some years ago I had a dream that I never forgot. I have only ever told it to a select few people in my life that were close to me. As of now I do believe I know the meaning of this dream, but I think I'm ready to ask a larger group what they believe it means, if for no other reason to give me insight that I may have missed.
Here is my original recounting. Every bit is directly from my memory of the vivid images and events, none is hallucinated or modified after the fact. If you have any questions please ask.
In my dream, there was a great battle, a battle that raged on through cyberfields as well as the physical realm. The setting was hyper-futuristic tech combined with Victorian and classical architecture, almost like steampunk, but higher tech. It was very utilitarian but also did not want for beauty. it was almost as if the complexity of the technology and the complexity of the aesthetic complimented each other directly. An art style I’ve never seen before outside of this dream

In the dream, I was partnered with another man, and there was a sort of Mother Guardian we were protecting, and she was seemingly human, but she had a some infused cybernetic parts in her. They were minor, and they were located around her head and standing alone they formed the shape of a butterfly almost like a symbol of rebirth, upon which she stored all her vast knowledge. This Mother guardian was some sort of representation of the collective knowledge of the cosmos and of nostalgia that allowed the level of technology that occurred in the universe in the my dream.

At some point, we were fleeing from the enemy, and I don’t know where we were, but at that point, we were able to escape outside of the planet we were fleeing. But the Mother was wounded, and she could go on no further. And when she died, I swear I heard her sadness and her tears, she said "I love my children, so dearly i love them…" I heard it so clearly, and my heart wept. After which, her body disintegrated and the only thing left of her was her robes and her cybernetic crown.

This crown was a key to yet another great knowledge bank/library. we accessed an astronomically large data library, which resided in a orbital satellite. it was like an infinite knowledge bank.

And we said to each other, something such as, “with this we can create a new world”. There was no loss of quality, none. It had even the higher knowledge forms. It wasn't even back to “square one”. With rebirth came instant progress. In every rebirth story and analogy or parable, with rebirth comes a reset, a beginning of a new cycle. But the Mother.. she was so so generous.. Her love was so intense, so attached to the chaotic void, that even though she was watching the universe destroy itself, she wanted our rebirth to come with instant progress. I wept so bitterly.

And when I awoke from the dream, I had tears in my eyes, as I remembered what she had said before her death, "I love my children, so dearly i love them…"
