>>7710 Hello! I did lucid dreaming 1-2 times a month for a couple years, the main thing was just writing down (typing up) my dreams, and then putting in the effort during the day to remain meta-aware of how normal things are. Before this, I had a few spontaneous lucid dreams over the course of my entire life. With that predisposition, I did not have do crazy sleep schedule stuff to achieve these results. I don't know if it really helped me know myself better directly. I could post my lucid dream logs here- but most of them were basically noise. I threw a hadouken at an evil nun. There isn't a lot of symbolism to reliably squeeze out of it. I can remember a single dream where I felt I was the purest, most worthy thing I could be. I loved a girl (that I barely knew IRL) so much and so purely, I just wanted her to be okay and I was so happy when dream-her acknowledged that I was a good dude in a phone call with her dad or someone. It was deep, it was the strongest feeling I'd ever felt- and on reflection it was the emotional equivalent of a wet dream. I had a motivating semi-spontaneous episode of ideaesthesia, but it isn't like that motivation stayed with me or made me confront my actual and obvious problems in a realistic way. This might have resulted from the lucid dreams.
