Recurring nightmares about public transport

There's been this recurring theme in my nightmares for a couple weeks where my mind drags me through extended periods of high-stress surrealist public transport movement. It always features me taking a route to god-knows-where with a comically high number of changes. Tram to subway to bus to bus to tram to bus. And the changes are always extremely stressful, with me just barely not missing the bus, or not being sure which stop to wait by on a huge viaduct, etc. Does anybody know what this is supposed to mean or represent?

I don't, but I can guess. You're dealing through a lot of complex, time critical situations. Always trying to hit schedule, deadline, whatever. It's hard to do that. To keep up with it all. Try to reduce your workload?

>>7660 Not particularly, I don't actually have that many time critical situations recently... There's stressors but they're not related to haste and deadlines

You are before choosing a life path? Idk much about meanings and representations, but i dream the same thing once in a while. A bit difference, that In my dream, i repeatedly board the wrong bus/tram/train and either can't get off when i notice this (for example intercity train going for an hour without a stop), or i can get off, but i have no idea where i am and can't get back to anywhere i know. (for example city bus and tram). When the latter happens, my brain goes out of his way to create intricate, detailed new city parts, neighbourhoods, traffic junctions, etc. Only after i wake up, i realize, that they are made up of mixed smaller parts of IRL cities and cities from games. For example small houses from my hometown, mixed with exotic houses from GTA, packed onto a square from the city where i live now.

>>7664 Sometimes I have a similar dream, although it's different in many ways. Night falls in it, my phone goes dead and I ride an empty public transport without having the slightest idea how to get home. It's not really a bad dream. I like the atmosphere of quiet transport, with the lights of the night city flashing by the window.
