In my dream last night, I was in an ornate version of my house. Beautiful banisters and the like. I looked outside at my back garden and my cousin was led down outside. She was watching something on her phone. I watched for a while before Mr Beast, the youtuber, appeared from behind (from my point of view) the steps down onto the grass.
He lurched over to my cousin and stabbed her to death there and then. I could hear police coming as soon as she was stabbed. They knocked on the door while I was picking her up so I carried her to the front door. I thought to myself that it was too late for her. One of the police came inside and started speaking.
He asked me if I knew of the "Black Lodge". Now, in the dream I recognised this as a concept from Twin Peaks and this is what I believed made me lucid. I sort of zoomed out from the dream, making it appear smaller and smaller until it was about the size of a marble. It disappeared soon after. I was left in a void of pure black; I could feel my head on my pillow and my eyelids in front of my eyes. I was in a sort of waking state where I could've opened my eyes and awoken at any point. But I kept them closed and decided to make a new dream. So I brought my hands together (I don't think I could see my hands, I was going off of sense) and brought them apart in front of me and a new dream appeared: of a city and snow.
I woke up soon after that. Learning of Lynch's death afterward was very surreal to me. I had just had a dream with a reference of Twin Peaks and then one of it's co-creators dies? Bizarre. This is my first brush with any dream-related synchronicities.
What does this mean for me? Have I awoken my starchild powers (lol)? My dream had a Twin Peaks-esque element: the girl murdered by a male evil. Maybe Lynch has become a spirit.
