I've noticed that there are quite a few people interested in dreams, lucid dreaming, astral projection and the like on this website, but how many are interested in the dream that we call consciousness itself? In my experience the only difference between dreams and waking experience is our own perception of there being a difference. Are there any posters here who look at experience the same way? What are your thoughts? Is experience something pliable?
In lucid dreaming we're capable of directing our experience through will alone, and there are some who believe that our waking lives are also solely directed through human consciousness which connects to the divine and the source of the infinite. If you're familiar with Qabala then you might have encountered this idea before.

If you're going to make a Thelema thread, why not just call it by what it is? Do what thou wilt.

I agree, life is a waking dream and you can be a lucid awakener just as easily as you can be a lucid dreamer.
I've managed to gain plenty of paranormal, spiritual, and mystical experiences looking at life this way and induce them into other people as well.
Reality is much more malleable than you think and this has been demonstrated countless times by many people before in history.

The idea that we all have pieces of the divine within us I believe to be true- humans are reality generators, the problem being there are so many of us with varying wills and understandings of this that complicate its usage as freely IRL as in one's dreams. It's like that meme that stated the "fixed points" of reality are the last points where wizards warred and ended in stalemate- I'd attach it, but can't find it, unfortunately. Within dreams, you've more free reign with usage of the will because you're not (usually, at least) competing with any other wills to achieve what you will. Like with manifestation and the like, is my will stronger than whatever wills might hinder the attainment of whatever I'm trying to attract?
