Loop dreams

I've had this same experience 5 times already and I wish I knew more about it The experience has been the same every time. I'd "wake up" in the middle of the night having a suddent feeling of heavy vertigo and paralyzing fear (it feels like if was being raised in the air or if someone was pushing me against my bed). Then I'd desperately start trying to move, not being able to at first. Everytime I try to make an effort to move I get hit by the vertigo feeling which paralyzes me even more. This goes on for like 5 - 10 times until I'm finally able to hardly get out of my bed, moving like if I'm about to faint making my way to my parents for help in wharever location of my house they are. And its at that exact moment when I tell them what's going on when I "wake up" again, on my bed, in the same exact position was before, immediatly getting hit by the heavy vertigo feeling and starting the process all over again. The loop repeats for what feels like all night until I actually wake up, sometimes in the morning or sometimes just 30 minutes from when I recall falling asleep. Has anyone ever experienced something similar, or know why does this happen?

I read your post once quick and thought it sounded like what happens to me, then read it again and that sounds actually a lot worse lain.. ): I have had this experience for years, where I will be falling asleep (sometimes after waking up randomly) and enter sort of a lucid state. I'll then think of something scary (or even just anything random), and then I'll feel sleep and fear paralysis that ends when I wake up. I'll try to go back to bed and this usually happens again >5 - 10 times as well. Usually ends by itself or when I do something to get up like getting a drink of water. Something that I find helps is (I sometimes listen to old podcasts or radio shows or music when I go to bed) not distracting yourself with media right before you try to sleep.
