how to hypermentalize

Cat Mother · 2024-06-03 15:47
there is a force of deterritorialization constantly fracturing the bounds of my ego, but my mind obsessively recodes it into fear and autistic verticality/circularity. how do i transform my mind into a force of horizontal creativity and joy by schizophrenitizing my body? im stuck in this weird place of autistic neurosis

The deterritorialization of the ego is a good thing. Whatever cannot be made legible or comprehensible is inherently ungovernable. The difficulty for you is maintaining consistency within yourself. >my mind obsessively recodes it into fear and autistic verticality/circularity. That's not autism that's the effect of language. Language is a system that structures meaning, thought, sensation. It imposes a symbolic order and you can't escape it unless you switch language (see Sapir Worf hypothesis). You're always shaped by the linguistic structures that have slowly been built into your brain since childhood. So if anything its the opposite of autism. Severe autistsics have no concept of language and are mostly non-verbal. They are pure id. >how do i transform my mind into a force of horizontal creativity and joy by schizophrenitizing my body? Escape language and the constraints of thought. There are two ways to do that generally speaking. The first are the techniques of Chan and Zen Buddhists who are trying to get out from underneath conscious thought. The second is to chase extreme bodily experiences that override conscious rational language based thinking, usually through extreme religious, sexual practices or taking a soykaf ton of drugs. Stuff like extreme BDSM, chasing intense orgasms, starving yourself like a monk and going into the desert, exposing your body to intense pleasure and pain or exploring unconscious dream states. This is risky and you can easily fuarrrk yourself up or end up having a psychotic break if your not careful.

firstly make sure all your body's needs are met - not drinking enough water, eating enough food, micro-nutrient unbalance, lack of sleep can all push anxiety further. once that's taken care of you can meditate, and do anything in a mindful state. By relaxing your body, you also relax your mind. >>7088 >sapir worf hypothesis the sapir-whorf hypothesis isn't a hard law of cognition, its a question in linguistics that has obviously true, arguable, false, and unfalsifiable implications. only the "soft" sapir-whorf hypothesis really holds meaning these days. >Severe autistics have no concept of language and are mostly non-verbal. They are pure id. given what you oppose, i don't understand why you would fall back into this categorization of autism. is that not exactly what you're against? autism is not "pure id", it is not an animalistic state nor is it the extreme pole of some nexus rationale of territory

>>7089 The problem is actually language. Namely, your conception of and belief in an "autism spectrum". Get rid of this obfuscating gibberish, the whole problem goes away. Non-verbal autistics become mentally retarded, and higher functioning autistics have damage to their early brain formation likely due to gut issues and an neuroinflammatory profile. Some due to propriooceptive issues leading to compression or torsion of the brainstem and reticular formation. Oh, and what else is down there? That's right buddy. The regions the do facial recognition, right at the base of the skull and off the reticular formation, right near the brainstem. It's so fnckin' obvious they make up names to obfuscate what's going on because most people are slaves to language and their whole purpose for existing is to maim and drain the life out of everything tragically plopped out on this soykafhole planet. In America in particular, where most of this braindead split mind gibberish is produced, most men will have a mark on a certain part of their body to attest to this blatant base reality.

>>7090 I can see how gut flora and neuroinflammatory profile are a *potential* etiology of autism, although i disagree on the gut issues, they seem confounded by the fact that autistics have very particular food preferences that seemingly are part of the behavioral profile recognized pre-diagnosis - you have no way of proving differences in gut flora aren't a consequence of those preferences. facial recognition is also confounded by the fact that one of the most telltale that is once again, pre-diagnostic signs of autism is avoidance of eye contact which can make difficulty reading faces especially if you become acclimatized to doing so from a very early age. etiology literally does not matter, though. saying you know what causes autism as a conciliatory gesture is simply a move to take the upper hand in the conversation and logically has nothing to do with what I'm saying: that you are continuing to use autism and most particularly the very spectrum of "mild" to "severe" that is largely rejected by not only anti-psychiatry types but also the more reformist neurodivergence community, and by autistic self-advocacy. the little bit of jargon you've thrown in here from perhaps reading one (1) study that was forwarded to your politically incorrect, or perhaps reddit community telegram channel does nothing for the very evident hogwash of "non-verbal autistics become mentally retarded" it is clear you have a direct investment in the very systems you mean to oppose, whether you use languge to express this investment or not does not matter, we are posting on an imageboard using words anyway. And I'm sorry for being rude, I understand you probably have better intentions than this but there are certain maxims that enable complex communication to occur, flouting those does not make you based or enlightened it makes you at best unaware but also perhaps arrogant and incapable of thinking outside of your own delusions, both assumptions widely made about the autistics you seem to consider yourself above. while im generally sympathetic to rejections of language as institutionally mandated you don't seem aware of or engaged to, or in any way openminded towards the criticism that might actually come from the very people you call mentally retarded nor do you seem willing to criticize the regime that territorialized our experiences in the first place. the fact remains that so long as the mode of determination for autistic individuals or any diagnosis for that matter, remains socio-surveillant of a body (often a child)'s behavior one must foremost address the process of determination, as all conclusions ultimately stem from the hypothesis that this manner of analysis - diagnosis - can be used to determine which categories an experience fits in to. we are not neuroimaging every child or taking samples, it is simply that certain parents who are having difficulties take their child to a psychiatrist, describe behaviors, and ask what's wrong with them.

>>7088 im curious to know about what you said about extreme bodily experiences. i feel like in the past when i've pursued such experiences its only intensified the patterns of fear and territorialization because i felt out of control or disoriented in spite of my efforts to accept and embrace the experiences. i guess i haven't really explored many bodily experiences, but when i have with full commitment it has only intensified my fear and disorientation
Cypher · 2024-06-04 20:08
>>7088 also is zen buddhism related to deterritorialization? i'm not super familiar with buddhism because i guess i assumed it was like a nihilistic spirituality

If you have any opinions about Myers-Briggs or Jung, try to read this more as a vehicle for conveying its concepts and not for advocacy of the framework per se. Does this look like a "Ti-Si" loop? Extroverted intuition poorly or insufficiently engaged, a rut of analysis paralysis, pessimistic tunnel vision, extreme risk aversion, lack of inspiration, rumination, change resistance? Of possible help, among others, may be brainstorming-exercises, devil's advocacy, self-compassion / loving-kindness, mindfulness meditation,* and other efforts to introduce more (Big-5) openness-to-experience (feeding back from the actions into the deeply held beliefs / preferences). *Meditation doesn't need to be a big project or anything, just pay attention to your breaths, let thoughts float by without engaging/pursuing them, count sets of 10 breaths, start easy and try to get to 10 cycles of 10 after a while.

Jane Doe · 2024-07-26 12:14
I do the same thing and I assume it comes from innate anxiety of child era trauma or something like that. The best you can do is run "through" it and spiral out with it upwards. Use it as a propellant to move through the world without doing too much badness

>>7199 Is it just "schizobabble"? It's known that there is high incidence of gut problems (including celiac disease) in people with autism spectrum disorders (or schizophrenia). It's also known that ketogenic diet can help reduce symptoms of schizophrenia. I'm not saying that schizophrenia and autism are similar disorders but they have some minor similarities like this. Obviously, autism needs to start every early during infancy or even before the child is born. And there are definitely more people with autism spectrum disorders than before (say 100 years ago).
