Lainons, what are some good lucid dreaming techniques that i should try tonight? I'm kinda new to it.

It will take longer than one night to build up the habits required for lucid dreaming
Tonight, maybe try starting your dream journal, regale us with your subconscious

keep a dream journal - improves dream recall, don't want to lucid dream and not know since you forgot it
reality checking regularly,

Basically come up with prompts that break you out of the dream.
For me it is glancing at my wrist for my watch. As I have never worn a watch. The only time I look at my wrist is when I think I am in a dream, and it's the only time I am wearing a watch.

im sure this has been said before; incase it hasn't:
>dream journal
>WILD or MILD methods
>reality checks
(count fingers, feeling the walls around you)
>affirmations
(i am going to lucid dream, i am lucid dreaming, i will lucid dream tonight, etc.)
good luck lainon

In addition to everything mentioned ITT, I would advice trying WBTB or Wake Back To Bed:
1.Set up alarm to wake you up after 3-5 hours of sleep
2. Sleep
3. Wake up when alarm rings. Get out of your bed.
4. Stay awake for 10-30 mins, I think 15 mins is optimal.
5. Sleep.
This method can be used 1-3 times a night.
