First time vivid dreaming.

I've never had any vivid dreams in my life before. All I remembered after a dream is that I did indeed dream. But I never remembered the contents of my dreams. A few days ago, I had my first dream that I could vividly remember afterwards; it all felt so real. I could recall every sensation in my body, along with the emotions I felt in reaction to those sensations. Shortly after waking up, I promptly wrote down the things I could remember about my dream. Does anybody else here have a similar experience with dreams? Additionally, does anyone here know what could have triggered my vivid dream? Is it just a one-off occurrence, or could such a vivid dream happen again? Oh, and in case anyone here is curious about my dream, here it is: I was riding alongside some car enthusiasts in America. They were driving a modified ambulance, while I was on a motorbike behind them, acting as their cameraman. After a while of recording them performing tricks and racing, they caught the attention of a police car parked on the side of the road. A chase ensued, lasting quite a while and involving multiple police cars. The ambulance was the first to be stopped, though its occupants managed to escape on foot. I was able to go a little further before I was also stopped. I managed to escape on foot as well, running past some stores by the highway and ending up in an unfamiliar area: a swamp. I had to trudge through deep muddy water, and it was here that I encountered one of the guys who had also managed to escape. We ran out of the water and onto a path, only to eventually return to the water. As we were entering the water, a police officer approached along the path. I desperately tried to hide behind the leaves of a nearby willow tree standing in the water. However, my efforts were in vain, and I was apprehended. The officer didn't handcuff me, but they did handcuff the other guy who was caught with me. I had to wait with an officer beside me. I asked the officer why I wasn't being handcuffed like the other guy. The officer responded by asking if I wanted to be handcuffed. We were then escorted back to the police cars, and I wondered what would happen to me, given that I was not from the USA.

Vivid dreams seem to be an occasional thing. I assume they get less frequent with age.
