Occuring place in my dream

Hello Lainons, I am a man of rationale however there is an event that keeps happening in my dreams which I can't explain how and why it happens. I will describe it here and I hope you guys can comment on it. Dream Usually, I have some weird dreams, I believe it helps me process daily conversations and my daily thoughts and problems. Say, if I was feeling sad about not having an significant other during the day (even if it's only for 5 mins), I will have something related to that in my dream. In this example I will have a nice date with a girl, then somehow "people/security/agents(?)" find us and then we will make a run for it. We will end up in a place, very gray, all concrete and metal pipes. Think of maintanence shafts or see picrel. It's like a labyrinth and we run through until we reach a bigger warehouse like part with floating pipe connections and still everywhere is concrete. We will get to the place again Place This place then occurs almost everytime I have a dream that I remember. Sometimes I or the people I have with me start at different locations, always passing through this bigger area, then escaping to other parts of the place. Then the dream abrubptly ends. Some characteristic features are >lots of concrete >lots of pipes and cables >sometimes wood, but all rawlike material >except the bigger area, somehow claustrophobic, not too tight but two persons will barely fit into the "tunnel" like smaller areas. This dream occurs not very often, say maybe each 1.5 Months. What do you guys think about it? Why does it keep occuring? Why do I always end up there in my dreams?

It's not about what it means. How does it make you feel? What do you think about when you go to The Place? There are places I go in my dreams that are based on reality but are more idealized. They are comforting and familiar even though I am far from home. Does The Place make you feel welcome or isolated and alone? Lastly, I had a dream where I was persecuted and hunted and had to run. I figure it was because I spent too much time on twitter seeking engagement. Your mention of people/security agents like that reminded me of that although I'm sure the root cause is different (being cockblocked by your own subconscious is a common occurrence).

I daydream about this place. I call it The Desert. Infinite hallways and passageways, and sometimes there are places where the interior is so big the sky is in front of the ceiling. I like to explore this place. I am trying to recreate it with code. I hope one day I can share this place with the world.

>>6349 hmm... it makes me feel kind of cold, scared and also somehow belonging? It is familiar yet cold. I don't really feel sad when I go there just a bit stranged out.

Your ancestors had problems finding a romantic partner at some point in their lives. then, they would have a dream like yours. evolutionarily, it happened that this type of person has this kind of dream. then, they would think about this dream. about its significance. what do you think: what happened next? they became aware of stress resulting from their current life situation, and it was one of the elements that eventually made it so unbearable, that they had to pull themselves by the bootstraps out of this pipe hell realm into the sun, where your partner is waiting

>>6348 I just had one that was similar to this last night where the dream was some sort of emotional processing or reenactment. I was feeling anxious about missing a lot of hours at work recently and last night I had a dream where I was navigating a mazelike upper middle class house. I had the impression I was supposed to be doing something for the man who owned it, but couldn't for some reason so I kept wavering between either finding a place to hide or trying to get out. Whenever I saw a door or window that looked like it lead outside, I would get confused and turn around. Mostly I just tried to dodge the owner and his dogs. For some reason he had about half a dozen dogs and they were all gentle breeds like golden retrievers or labradors. At some point I noticed in the dream I was struggling to breathe which I think was just sleep apnea. >>6349 >how did it make you feel the scenario in my dream made me feel guilty, as I was running from the consequences of my own actions. the setting itself was ambiguous, though. aspects of the house were like amplified versions of places I've visited or lived in and liked, and ofc the dogs not being scary added to the idea that it's a place of safety, but not everything is accounted for with me and I'm running away from getting things exactly right. >cockblocked by your own subconscious definitely. I'm learning to just listen to what's in my own head and see what's going on in there instead of trying so hard to steer things and I'm noticing this a lot. sometimes the feeling seems to be that it's frustrated with me because it's just trying to help and other times it's steering me away from things I've been mature enough to handle for a long time. I'm hoping to develop the ability to lucid dream and parley with it on its "home turf"

>>6348 Not the most relevant to your questions, but I do find it fascinating to think about how the primal reptilian=unconsciousness uses the materials of the modern world in its representations of itself. I wonder what someone born even 200 years ago would make of this dream=space. I wonder if modern=life and the forms it expresses itself in through us is reenacting something deep within us in these expressions. All this prompted by thinking about the somewhat comical light at the end of the tunnel that the popular=imagination has brought about regarding death. Anyways.

>>6348 I dreamt a similar place except instead of tunnels it was a very large and wide open area located under the ocean (?).
