deja vu

HELIOS · 2023-04-13 22:05
hi lainons, i come firstly with a question: have you ever had deja vu, and do you continue to experience it with any regularity? secondly, if you do, what is your relationship with spirituality? ie are you religious or have "alternative" beliefs? I just had a deja vu flashback to a dream I had 2-ish years ago. I'm in a different state, but everything was identical to how I remember the dream.

I experience deja vu fairly regularly, maybe once every month or two. Occasionally it is very strong and disorienting. >what is your relationship with spirituality? I'm a devout discordian.

>>6191 I have deja vu all the time and it is often very disorientating as I can never nail down what feels like it's happened before. I am not at all spiritual.

>>6191 IDK if it counts as deja vu, but more like pattern recognition. It's really weird because I keep seeing certain patterns being repeated while most people don't notice.

>>6191 Since I was a child I regularly have deja vus, mostly places that I dreamed way before visiting them and I am religious

I keep experiencing deja vus on nearly weekly basis. These used to be far more frequent when I was a kid. I wish I was journaling them somewhere - more than often I could swear I've had dreams about something that was bound to happen within 12 months, but not sooner than 6 months.

>>6191 It happens occasionally. Sometimes I just pause, overwhelmed by the feeling that I've been in my current situation before. That I've seen my circumstances or dialogs before, either because multiple things repeated themselves or because I saw them in a dream.
