Let's start an hoax
The Lord of Schizos · 2022-07-05 16:46
Not sure if this is the right board to post this idea of mine, but, I want to start a hoax, anyone here have any tips of how to do that?

Make a video called something like "The Greatest Story Never Told" and post it on Halfchan's p*l. Those "people" tend to believe anything...

Nice reference, but that absurdly long documentary was done with pretty good references. It doesn't really disprove the holocaust or anything like that -- As so many people seem to think it does --, it just shows you different perspectives with primary and secondary sources that have been mostly left out of the general narrative. (Hitler being rather well liked by his peers, for example, even by people who latered claimed to "have always hated him". As well as a few things that his enemy (communists) would generally praise him for.) -- They give you a big fat juicy list to interprete these things for yourself, too. It was alright, I wouldn't watch it again, and I felt like the last three parts could have been left out to come off as a little less propaganistic, though it came off like they slowly grew angry from all the lies in history and didn't check their work. What a shame no one told them that most history is lies and made up.
Most people who hold great contempt for things don't know much about it. They tend to only hear about it in a vague way through a specific lense by people who also don't know much about the topic themselves. Ask someone one thing about the thing they hate, they rarely have an answer that isn't some kind of personal attack (Stupid mustache), outright false (a womanizing virgin who hated animal rights and was a vegetarian), or have little to do with the actual subject itself (Masturbation machines). But then, rarely do people ever actually care. Unfortunately, the sweaty masses use political beliefs as a replacement for tribalism at the end of the day.

First we should decide what the general gist of the hoax wil be, and who the targets will be.

True, what about a sort of "have you ever dreamt this man", but more aggressive, like a fake serial killer or something? Maybe a fake cult could be a good idea too? Let's say i'm not here to touch history but mostly for make people scared or paranoid.. I think I got an idea tho, the gist could be a "Everything and everybody is spying on you" sort of thing, lowkey would work better than the previous 2, and about the main target, we will see who is paranoid enough to believe, or to maybe take this post as a sort of signal and confirmation that everything and everyone is actually spying on them, I could slide in some kind of Cicada3301 type of soykaf too, for make this creepier, what do you guys think?.

I already tried to do that but I gotta try out this idea too or otherwise it will remain stuck with me for a long time, and that wouldn't be good for my mental state I think.

I like the 'have you dreamed this man' thread. Thats very cute.
while you don'tneed to make it about history ala greatest story, good cults have history and your fictional one should, too. Tie it into the illuminati, the rosey crosses, the templars and the masons. And maybe the mansons too while you're at it; the more the merrier.

If this was 10+ years ago it could have worked, but now any kind of hoax will be debunked quickly.
I wished I was around online in the early days, an urban legend I wanted to spread was that the movie Wargames lead to a lawsuit and the result is why all hacking and computing in Hollywood films are awful.

you don't understand the type of people I think OP's talking about. The existance of Debooonkers on a particular claim, lend it their own weight without diminishing it. Why would (((they))) try to tell you otherwise, but if there's something to it, ehh ?

Ooh, I really like those ideas!

I dont think it would be too hard. Just require bots and astroturfing.

I can't help but disagree. When it comes to deboonkers, all you have to say is "this completely innocuous object is tied to whtie supremacy" and they'll fall for it hook, line, and sinker.

People tend to believe anything that appears to have a lot of "time spent" behind it.
So just REALLY articulate it, it should only take a couple times. But make sure you prepare infographics and counter-arguments ahead of time. Also speak in irreverence of past-tens
>You fuarrrking [soykaf] deniers always say the exact same thing
>meticulously_designed_counterargument.jpg
Then all of the retarded dogs will lap your diarrhea up off the floor and regurgitate it to their friends like how birds feed their babies.
This is contingent on "intelligent people" generally being the gatekeepers of vetted information; If the information seems vetted, they will spread it. Understand your demographic, and then exploit it.
