Losing consciousness

What regimen does Lain prescribe for treating somebody presenting with "lowered consciousness?" My cognition seems fine. I'm emotionally stable. I work out and meditate. Yet, I feel like I'm getting less conscious with time, or perhaps depersonalizing. It could be a lack of life satisfaction causing me to split off my consciousness, or some other deeper thing. I've also considered spending some time away from the internet, call it a week or so. All advice welcomed, but especially interested in stuff outside {sleep, diet, exercise, go to therapy}: I have the first three nailed down, I think. "Go to therapy" is an absolute last resort for me.

if you're on drugs, quit 'em. meditation is a weird choice imho. Lots of people meditate to try to get to what you describe. Not sure what you're trying to do with it. I'd try and get a hobby/long term agenda to pursue and that you care about. Something that keeps you busy, involved, and mentally occupied, but also feels achievable and where you can witness its fruits. Can be hard to find a good one but its worth it. Think along the lines of writing a complete history or having kids. I don't know what you're into. Can also just be work, but dull work tends to just be meditation, and that's not what you want. Seems a rare person with a job that provides that sort of fufillment, but hey maybe you'll be lucky.

Maybe there is some philosophical void you need to fill in order to fully recalibrate the psyche. A nagging question without answer? Or it's something else, similar but not quite... not really lowered consciousness but instead a loss in the sense of agency or autonomy. Awareness meditation exercises can relieve this, particularly walking meditations. Getting out of your comfort zone in ways to reinforce your agency as well, so doing something like scheduling periods without internet would also help. Progressively fill your day with activities that bring stimulation and satisfaction in different ways, test yourself but don't tire yourself out. If either doesn't sound right, maybe you're just readjusting to your current, generally beneficial state, and you haven't given it time. That's my impression at least, take it for what it's worth.
