Does my consciousness have any relationship with the consciousnesses of my friends/loved ones? If we reincarnate or continue to exist in another form will we be drawn to each other? Or is there nothing special about human relationships in relation to consciousness?

I am pretty sure I met one of my current friends several centuries ago (15th give or take a bit).

It is fairly often recorded people who have past life recall often share previous lifes with others that are now in their life to pay off karmic debt and/or to somehow interact with one another in this life.
I have a good friend who is weird character from out of this world, i dont feel like typing out too much right now but he is something not quite human, an alien according to own accounts and im rather inclined to believe that.
He anyhow claims we had a past life and stuff, somehow i feel thats very possible.
There are a lot of well documented accounts of reincarnation that just cant be explained away.
As luck has it i read a book on this right now.

Most people think our conscious minds are consciousness, but that is not consciousness, which encompasses all the mental processes we undertake, and this includes many which our conscious minds are unaware of. We generally have no recollection of our dreams, yet that is definitely occurring and involves our mind.
We also assume consciousness arises in the brain, but that is also not true. Many single celled creatures, obviously not possessing brains, which require neurons to rub together that single celled creatures do not have, reveal they make decisions and learn.
Further, our gut fauna have been shown to strongly mentally influence us, which shows that consciousness is at least partly a communal event, involving other species.
I believe such aspects of consciousness do involve people we know, strongly even, but given the rudimentary state of our understanding of consciousness, your guess is literally as good as mine.
Nemissa · 2021-07-17 14:01
Well your kind of making me think so I literally just had this convo with a friend ive reunited with and am now sorta dating. I said no, not because I dont think your consciousnes has a relationship with your friends/loved ones consciousness, my opinion is it totally does. But I for one don't think your consciousness as something that is YOUR consciousness continues after your death. If by your definitions what others call soul and what you call consciousness are sort of interchangeable, then my answers still I dont think so but for a different reason of I dont think distinction between self and other exists without the material body. So after death regardless of what happens or is carried on of ourselves I think we are just as well acquainted and have a relationship with all souls or consciousnesses as we were with say a loved one. I don't think that kind of judging or "this person more than that person" or "liking x more than y" is relevant outside of material living known world.

karmic debt and/or to somehow interact with one another in this life.
There is nothing more ridiculous than karma and law of attraction in the realm of occult knowledge. Who or what would keep tabs on your naughty deeds, misgivings and good deeds? Why should it matter in the next incarnation? Because you were a serial rapist in your past life? Get real. This is Christian morality attached to the concept of providence invading Hinduist worldviews, namely Theosophy, which is the most retarded of all occult religions, if New Ageism isn't included. You either realize your true self or don't. If you do, you stop reincarnating, and if you don't, then you keep on doing what you've always been doing. All what matters is what you do and choose to do in your current incarnation. If you won't choose the path of Gnosis, then you're making the choise of keeping to your ignorance. It's as simple as that.
Boris Grishenko · 2022-03-18 11:49
Well, I believe we entangle with each other through basic affinity, which can be represented as "vibration" or some sort of frequency. Some people build a story together, they are peers, close friends who never give up on each other, loving parents, etc. The question would be "can death dissolve all that?" Because memory is clearly wiped when we incarnate. I couldn't know if immaterial life can dissipate these connections too, but I tend to believe we get drawn towards what rings our bells, souls included. Most people, however, don't make any difference consciousness wise, except for the projection we do to perceive that it was ourselves trolling all the time.

there is some inevitable geometry to how humans understand the world generally as we use information tech ove time. I feel there were distinctive chapters to life, now I look around and see that there are so many related ways everyone is interpreting the veil information of human society. it's always been there yet seemed like the same object. history society and culture, now uniformly for humans it seems the skin sheds as the world begins and unstoppable burn. previously in history not possible, the individual was privy to the mobs will. yet the race really feels totally imagined now

yes, i am totally convinced of inter-concious relationships.
and as those, they can chance, break, flourish.
basically friends already have mutually accepted an impact and a connection to their matrix, and it will be like a fingerprint, swirls and ways uniquly how it was spent.

i do hope that reincarnation does and will never exist. i am fine with a broader sense of conciousness, but make the best of friendships you have right now, as they are vivid and need to be shaped.
one life is enough.

Your consciousness metaphorically is just a pair of eyes, its pure perception. As such it is the same consciousness as everyone elses, its like gravity. Its filtered through your brain and body and the content of you but it is just experiencing. It feels local to your body but it isnt, its eternal and devoid of content. Thats my take. If you died it would functionally be like reincarnation except you would be gone and this phenomena of experiencing and being aware was just never yours.
Your consciousness and your loved ones consciousness are the same which can be seen as pleasant and I think thats great but to me it doesnt change much. I believe in a collective conscious but not in the sense of some shared pool again its devoid of contrnt, and its not really a collective it just is one consciousness. It just so happens to feel to the mind and body that it is your consciousness and a part of you as it sees through your eyes and feels through your body and interacts with your mind. You cant "break out" and psychically link with someone else, in little transcendent moments when yourself is erased like death you maybe experience everything everywhere all at once without thought or sight or touch. But you arent really linking with the world, the idea of you ceases to exist, its just now all thats left is this force of consciousness which is public universal total like magnets and mass and energy. Non causal and irrelevant but also everything. There is no thing to be done off of this information, which I believe to be true. You are still right where you are forced to connect with others as humans do and not through anything grander. You are a golem with a lot of stories and jokes and something without your consent happens to be backseating.
In some cultures the pronoun of "I" is universal, it cam be used to refer to others, and I functions as like a pro pronoun. To defer to something conscious and then an additional pronoun might be added to defer to the material being. Im not going to cite what I dont remember or care, you getthe idea even if im misremembering. I think thats the best way to visualize it in terms of consciousness as it relates to others. You share all of it with others ans yet functionally this does not necessarily make you closer but you could imagine it does or feel it does.

No, your consciousness is a lie created by your brain. It don't not even decide of anything. Your brain decide things for you and throw a way for you to rationalize it.

Boltzmann Brain Decay and Reformation:
The Boltzmann Brain (BMB) is a bundle of particles that sustains consciousness.
It decays over a very short time (from its POV) but takes millions of years to reform elsewhere in a vacuum.
To the consciousness inside the BMB, reformation feels instantaneous.
Each reformation creates a new universe and a new iteration of <q>"you."</q>
Memory and Identity
Memory Volatility:
Volatile Memory: Complete erasure of past iterations leads to a fresh start with no recollection of previous lives.
Non-Volatile Memory: Retention of past memories creates phenomena like deja vu or past-life awareness.
Identity Variability:
The "You" formed in the new iteration might not even be human just as long as it can create "Your" "Brain".
The new form and experiences are random but determined by the properties of the new universe.
Universe Formation
Universes as Byproducts of Boltzmann Brains:
Each BMB creates a new, random universe upon reformation.
Universes can include any possible configuration of events, characters, and experiences.
Fictional entities (e.g., anime or game characters) can exist as conscious beings with physical forms in these universes.
Lifespan and Time Dilation
Variable Lifespans:
Lifespan within a universe depends on the environmental conditions shaped by the BMB’s formation.
For humans, the ~80-year average suggests localized stability in this specific universe.
Time dilation might affect how the BMB perceives its lifespan relative to the "real" universe.
Entropy Influence:
Entropy levels in the real universe govern the randomness of lifespan and universe characteristics.
Philosophical Implications
Eternal Cycle of Decay and Reformation:
The BMB decay marks the end of one iteration, and reformation begins the next.
The process is eternal, creating a potentially infinite number of random universes.
If governed by a higher-order being, this system could be an eternal prison or paradise, depending on the iteration.
Without governance, it reflects pure chaos, driven by entropy that increases as one "ages".
The Real Universe
One Encapsulating Universe:
A single "real" universe encapsulates all BMB-created universes.
This real universe likely has extremely high entropy to support the spontaneous formation of Boltzmann Brains.
If controlled by a being, it implies intent and possibly morality behind the eternal cycles.
If not, the system is a product of ungoverned, high-entropy randomness.
Existence of Fictional Entities and any imagined Entity:
Any character or scenario conceivable by the mind has a statistical likelihood of forming as part of a BMB-created universe.
Fictional characters can exist with traits and narratives similar to their original context or in entirely new configurations.
Current Conversations:
Even this conversation exists as a potential configuration within a BMB-generated universe.
Unique Observations
Lifespan and Time Dilation:
Lifespan variability suggests that time dilation and entropy influence the subjective experience of consciousness.

>Boltzmann Brain
I'm not the idea police or anything but for anyone unfamiliar with the term this anon is posting his own spin on it. A Boltzmann Brain is a hypothetical construct in the same style as the 1,000 monkeys who could accidentally write Shakespeare if given infinite time to type random characters. The Boltzmann Brain is a brain that technically the laws of physics don't prohibit the spontaneous creation of. If one has ever existed, then you can apply the brain in a vat hypothetical to it and ZOMG we could all be the dreams of a randomly assembled brain floating in SPACE.

consciousness is substrate, nothing exists but consciousness. reincarnation means recycle, not in the sense that subjective experiences of consciousness are coming back to life after the body disintegrates; it's more like presence is eternal, like a breath. after the big bang, there will be a big collapse and so on. it's a never-ending story because nothing can just sprout into existence from nothing. reality is paradoxical, so anything that is true is a paradox; otherwise, it is just half of the story. that's why reincarnation is both real and not real. your subjective experience is just a story; you are not living at all, at any moment. what persists in this story is identification with the ego. ego is a flask (nothing wrong with a flask) that allows you to have a separate experience of consciousness. identification is a pointer pointing to the ego - like a finger pointing to the moon. it captures the attention of awareness. this is what you call being alive. it is as true as it is false. your identity is nothing more than the identity of a character in a novel. so as the body is decaying, so is the ego - the container - but consciousness never dies in the same sense because it is actually creating the flask. people may have memories of previous lives because memories are already out there; they just need a container to capture them. it is similar to morphogenetic fields.
