3 days ago I decided to cut all social media and unnecessary time wasting soykaf and live on minimum (browsing imageboards are exception because I learn very cool stuff from lurking). And for the last 2 days I started to see very vivid dreams, is this coincidence? My dreams used to be very boring, black and white and monotonous. Did anyone experienced something similiar? Where can I learn more about dreams?

>This is your mind without the drug of social media
I don't know, as I quit social media almost 10 years ago. It's scary how much people get sucked into it, and their personalities are basically just stuck.
If you want to learn more about dreams there are plenty of resources ranging from the esoteric to the highly scientific. Check out some of the threads in the catalog, or post in the dream diary thread.
There are many books on the meaning and interpretation of dreams, or you could try to look more about the central themes of your dreams.
Have fun Lain!

I have noticed that quitting caffeine, taking magnesium before going to bed and cutting much of the garbage info pollution (tv, chans, social media etc) makes me dream more vividly. Exercise helps a bit with more sound sleep.

Only three days? That is either a coincidence or whatever shifted in your brain that encouraged you to make a lifestyle change also causes your dreams to be different as well. Three days is not very long.

Chans are social media too. I waste my time on chans.

So I ended up cutting ties with media when I started developing some unhealthy delusions again and they revolved around the commercials which lets be honest I don't think "mind control" is actually all that apropos. And yeah the dreams came flooding back and I could barely handle everything they were trying to catch me up on, like drinking from a fire hose to scramble to put someone back together. I definitely want to applaud you on your bravery to explore inside the greatest of universes. So many people are building noise machines to keep them selves from having to look around inside themselves. I am really tired of people who don't like to think.
TLDR; your experience seems to scan your going through a struggle, you've made a change to filter unwanted intrusion into your temple. Now there is more room for you and you can start to explore that awesome space. And I wish you all the luck in my universe and yours! See you in the depths friend.

It's relatively good for you, yes. You learn much more useful stuff from lainchan than you ever will from the evil tech giants' abominations. Moreover, lainchan and other small chans don't take up your whole day - they don't move fast enough to do that. All that said, no content on the web compares to reading books. Books require far more sustained attention to get the most out of them and (at least IMO) are more fulfulling to read. I go to bed much happier having spent all day reading a light novel than sitting on HN for 6 hours.
