Sleeping on different places

Apoc · 2021-06-16 18:20
I've been playing a lot around with my sleep lately, including doing polyphasic sleep and trying to induce lucid dreaming (I was able to do the former in biphasic form but the latter failed). Since I'm good at oversleeping I was wondering if sleeping on hard surfaces or unfamiliar places would help since you associate normally your bed with 8 hours of rest. I tried the floor but since my room is ~30 degrees Celsius during the evening it's just impossible to fall asleep. If I want to sleep elsewhere I'm gonna have to dress differently since I live with my family and can only sleep nude in my own room. Any tips or tricks to fall asleep fast? I tried concentrating on my breath and letting all distractions go but no luck.

>>4656 A colleague of mine told me, that he copies articles from newspapers and such when he tries to fall asleep. I didn't test it, but it seems to be a good method.

>>4658 What? That's insane. How can your colleague write out stuff while he's laying in bed? If I were to do this at my desk I wouldn't get bored or tired at all, especially if it's already too hot to sleep.
