Sometimes, while I'm thinking, I remember something I believed happened or remember some idea -- either of these things fully integrated in unconscious self -- and come to realize either the memory is impossible or the idea is impossible. An example being thinking of a real song as if I made it, with an elaborate context behind it, only to realize that elaborate context, when queried, has no information.
Then there's the problems of my earliest memories: I have no clue if some of them are real.
My mind makes new memories to understand old ones, often with the influences of dreaming. An example being I remember Elementary School as a dark night on our soccer field with the street lights on as we move around and play, sleep, talk, all at once. There's no logical reason for this, but in my mind, and perhaps due to hidden dreams, it makes complete sense for me to imagine this time as such.
Due to this my earliest memories are, invariably, influenced by mind mind and dreams of when they were created.
I think everybody has all of what I've said to some extent, which is part of why I'm posting, but I more wonder if anyone has anything much similar to the first thing as well as the 'new memories' bit. I wonder this because these dreams and understandings of reality have moved me greatly at times, to a point where I take fiction seriously due to it's power to enter my unconsciousness via alterations to mind or influence in dreams. I think this has influenced how I've often found abyss's, that being art or things inherently unknowable or unthinkable, nice to my mind, calming even. I'd like to hear your experiences with the unconsciousness, dreams', and mind's, interactions.
