Hello. This is my first post.
I dream a lot, often very vividly; since quitting marijuana, 3-4 dreams a night is pretty typical.
The last two nights I had dreams where I was attempting to take a test but was failing to complete it in the time allotted. This is the most directly connected two dreams have been for me. Anyone have a similar experience?
I also had the following dream, which I would like some interpretation;
I see myself in bed, in the first person perspective In a dimly lit room. A door is to my right. I see it ajar. Someone is poking their head through... they say something to me. They are there to try and kill me. A bit of cat and mouse ensues. I find myself on the bed again this time aware I have a sabre. He calls me Hoffman. I stand up on the left side of the bed and swing the sabre sorta wildly and I knick his neck. He shoots himself and I flee out a door to the left of the door he entered from and climb up some stairs but I hear his voice ("look at me"?) and despite not seeing him, I'm sure he is pursuing me.
Im in bed again. I see someone pointing something at me in the dark and I question it. He says it's a light... I grab it. A solider walks in, saying he needs to get gas; I question why and he responds 'for the spy'. The light is turned on and kinda asks if I need protection. I say im unsure and I have him write his number down.
It's the next day and a realitive is there, 'not my dad but my old man?' He says he will be staying cuz the attempt on my life. We sit down at a well placed table and he asks to teach me to dance; dancing seems to be a big deal for some reason, like it's some formal activity.
I wake up.
This dream was unusual for me because I identified as 'hoffman'; I usually either 1. don't recognize myself to be anything at all, or 2. believe myself to be my non-dreaming self.
I have a bunch of other logs from wacky ass dreams... a few where I die, or where my perspective shifts between third and first person a lot.
