Hello Lainons, I am a stranger to this board I usually go to /tech/ but bear with me through this.
Ever since I finished high school I have been having dreams every day. Back in my senior year in high school I rarely had dreams (1-2 per month). Furthermore, I was preparing for Uni entrance exams really hard and I studied ca. 7hr/day. I was a nerd at that point. I rarely had time to play vidya or FRPs or heck even read books or do hobbies (circuits). All I did was solve tests. I was really bored/kinda depressed and I did not enjoy anything I loved to do or talk with schoolmates.
I know this is connected somehow with me having dreams now but I can not put my finger on it. Why the sudden change? I wasn't happy with my exam results per se. Am I happier? Yes, but how would it be connected.
Even now I have weird dreams. I see dead babies in caskets , a dude giving me a iPod, me petting cats etc. etc.
Thanks for reading my post. I appreciate any input on this matter.

Addition: I also started dreaming non-existent real life like places (like markets and main streets). I cannot explain but they feel as if they exist but at the same time does not.

Honestly, I can relate. I know for me, I've always had weird, vivid dreams. It's just medication has increased their rate and vividness.
It might be that the life change created some change in your mind. Maybe you're feeling less stress, or more stress. Or maybe now that your life has some variety, so do your dreams.
Sidenote: maybe check into lucid dreaming? Also, my favorite random dream like yours was wandering around a museum. It was fun! Happy dreaming!

When I withdrew myself from society, and my social interactions dropped significantly, I started having dreams too. I think it's my brain just being socially starved, and starts sending my interactions in dreams.

interesting observation. i too would like to know more. wish i had kept a dream journal, or journal in general. obviously the brain is changing a lot during that time, and changing situations, routines, and your reactions to environments play roles.

The actual question is why are you remembering your dreams now. You still had dreams dude, you're just remembering them now.

Did you stop waking up to an alarm clock?
That seems to be the main factor in the amount of dreams I have.
