So a few weeks ago I got prescribed 10mg of escitalopram aka Lexapro. This is an SSRI. Ever since my ability to recall dreams has been increased so much, I can remember up to three different dreams per night. I am not lucid or aware at the time of dreaming though, I just remember them afterwards. Has anyone else on SSRIs experienced this much of an increase in dream awareness? It's sort of nice but also a bit tiring and confusing to remember all my dreams.

Apparently that's a common effect that ssri's have on people. I took zoloft for 5 days a few weeks ago and didn't experience it, but many of the people who's experiences I read or watched online reported having vivid and memorable dreams.

I'm taking the same SSRIs as you are and for the first few weeks I experienced really vivid dreams that I can still remember.
The effects have diminished now that it's the 3rd month that I'm taking them and I've adjusted to them. I have dreams that I remember every 3 days, but they'll usually be dreams that are still quite vivid and I'll try to write them down on my journal.
I think that you should be writing your dream experiences down, so your dreams don't fall in quality and you keep having better and better dream experiences. People usually keep a dream journal just for that.
Good luck, lainon, hope the medication suits you and helps you with whatever you're dealing with longterm. It's helped me with GAD a lot.

A few years ago I started taking a SARI (trazodone, prescribed mostly for insomnia) and during the first few weeks (especially the first days) I had amazing lucid dreams and an incredible ability to remember my dreams.

I also do trazadone for 2 years already and I sleep much better (I can easily fall asleep 2 hours after dosage, from the other hand it's harder than before to get up) but the dreams are the same. If you want more vivid and lucid dreams, try cytisine.
