Dreaming every hour

Eldon Tyrell · 2018-10-30 16:43
I've recently discovered that after my normal 6 hour sleep in the night, after I wake up I can go back to sleep and each time I fall to sleep I start to dream very vivid worlds and each one of them last aproximately one hour in between before wake up once again some of the dreams feels like it goes for days while truly it has only pass an hour and it's really fun even though I sometimes wake up more tired. Is there any name for this one hour dreams?

I don't know if there is a name for it but when I'm sick like with a fever maybe, I have those. Grand, epic adventures where I'm flying like Superman, that sort of stuff.

>>1662 It basically just has something to do with your REM cycle. If you wake up in the middle of your REM cycle you will feel more tired and groggy, if you wake up at the end of it you will feel refreshed.

It's called lucid dreaming, congratulainchans. My best advice is to find a 'teacher' archetype in the dream world because you can teach yourself all kinds of crazy stuff you didn't know you knew. Also experiment with 360 vision, remote viewing, manifestation. One day with enough practice you can translate these powers to the waking world.

>>1662 Happens to me every time I can sleep a long time (e.g. weekends), I usually sleep ~12hrs because of that, it can also be a bit overwhelming with all those extremely vivid dreams repeating many times everyday, dunno what it's called, but I have the exact same thing.

>>1680 Implying Akashik record type data stored in the genetic expression of your mind? It is feasable considering how complex life is and how little we know. Try smelling some sage and I swear it brings back emotions and memories in certain people. Recently met a teacher archetype, really felt like a divine love. We talked for hours about many of my favorite topics of interest and the archetype encouraged me to explore and to really get after what I was drawn too. At the end of the dream we hugged and I wept knowing I would miss the archetype for I had to travel west and would not be around for some time. Strange stuff this dream business is.

>>1666 >>1691 I'm interested. Tell me more about lucid dreams and how to achieve it.

I entered a similar state after about 4h of sleep cuz i couldnt fall asleep. It was very intense, but i as usual failed to remain lucid. Its an interesting state.

200 mg of 5htp per night makes me dream almost too much. It can def help lucid dreaming.

>>1664 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fever_Dream >>1665 This, 90 minute cycles-> 1.5 hours, 3 hours, 6 hours etc. for full rest >>1667 that is how your mind flashes data from one part to another. at 99% operating capacity, it would be having a stroke if it happened any more >>1680 somewhat of a meme, see the experiment of the parents never letting their child out of bed for something like 15 years IIRC. but spiders can weave webs, and birds can sing the songs of their parents after multiple generations of isolation >>1692 a lot of meditation, wicca teaches you to harness it, or some people use an chemical aid of some sort >>1691 >Recently met a teacher archetype, really felt like a divine love. in wicca this is known sometimes as a spirit guide or meeting a god(dess)

I wish I was you. If I do this, I enter a nightmare in which I know I am dreaming but I cannot wake up whenever I want. And when I do wake up, my body is in a state of absolute tiredness and this only goes away when I get up (and that is pretty hard, considering my imaginary fatigue). And the more consecutive times I return to sleep, the more the nightmares are terrifying. And those nightmares are scary because of how bizarre they are. Eventually, I start feeling physical pain because of the nightmares, that persist for a short time after I wake up.
