Familar Places

Do you ever dream of places which feel familiar but arnt when you wake up? I had an afternoon journey nap earlier and intuitively felt that I had a place in SF, but couldnt remember living in it when I was there. It was an old run down church. Now thinking about it is strange. It had that slightly creepy vibe. Overgrown foliage, ruins. Then I saw a helicopter like the place was under attack and started shooting at it with a mounted gun. Suddenly what looks like an alien ship lands and Alex Jones pops up saying we have to get out of there, so him and Owen decide to bug out in a Ford Mustang ha ha. I think I woke and on returning to sleep I found myself again in a similar ruinous place. This time with a girl I had slept with and never saw again. She was super skinny for some reason, and there was someone lurking outside the window. It feels like that limbo place, between the living and the dead

i often dream that i am in houses that, in the dream, i can know instinctively are mine/a friend's/family member's/etc, but upon reflection when waking up, realize that they are unlike any real house i've ever been in. sometimes it's like hybrid houses, like an aunt's house mixed with my old best friend's. once i dreamed that i was investigating my mother's apartment in paris--my mother has never lived in an apartment, nor have we ever been anywhere near france.

I have dreams about visiting places and cultures that don't exist on earth, but in the dream it feels very natural and terrestrial.

just last night i did. it was a weird castle on an island where you have to solve this mystery and get a key that unlocks something. last night i remembered that i had already been there so i was able to get to the key right away. once you pick it up all hell breaks loose and guys start attacking you so you have to get to the safe quickly and run away. sadly i woke up before i could open the box.

Sometimes I dream with a place what I've already dreamed

I sometimes dream about being in this place that my brain registers as "my high school", even though it looks nothing like the one I actually went to. Layout is completely different, cafeteria is obscenely tall and has black walls for whatever reason, and sometimes I'll see this HUEG loading area for buses, with the hallway leading up to it having the width of a highway.

I sometimes dream a place I live or have lived has a room or like big backyard area I was completely unaware of. Weirdly the dreams usually involve me being broke or unemployed but having a living space 3x larger than I originally thought.
