What are some of the most euphoric dreams you have ever had? I'm not talking about something that happened when you were high, or some sort of wet dream. Im talking about something that sticks in your mind for years and has generally moved you? I remember the time when I was seven years old I had a very emotional dream when my parents separated that I still think about. I remember my parents arguing in my old house, while I was in my room when suddenly an earthquake had taken my house and swallowed both me and my parents with it.

Too many to count. I have had some EXTREMELY euphoric dreams. I mean it doesn't really matter because you just wake up then forget about most of it. But you remember that at the time you got a truely magical feeling, one that blows away any drug trip or worldly experience. I remember this one time I was in some hotel of sorts, picture the building being a large tube like structure. At the bottom of the tube there was a fountain with lights shining up, outside of the venue there were also crossing skylights (think 20th century Fox intro). The building was like a classic mega fancy hotel, marble columns and all. The ground floor was a circular lobby, hallways spiraled up to the top of the tube with rooms all the way up. The top of the tube was open so i could see the stars and dark clouds, it was night time. Colors were blown out everywhere, mainly orange, reds and blues. I think i did some kind of whatever drug (i like to do this in dreams because there are no repercussions). It made me able to run very very fast. This was fun as all hell. I ran so fast that i could run up the walls if i got enough speed. So i decided to run along the outer edge of the hallway balcony that spiraled up the structure. I kept going up until i flung myself out of the top of the tube. Suddenly the camera panned out, i could see the entire hotel, the street, the skylights pointing up. I saw myself(?) shoot up and turn into a large blow up version of Jackie chan and float down while flipping. Flipping like a bowling pin would flip, straight as a board. It was clearly Jackie and i knew it at the time. It was honestly the most beautiful thing. Needless to say i woke up feeling like i just blew a load. I needed a cigarette after that dream (not that i smoked at the time).

I just recently had a dream where I was being pulled around by this woman. It was an erotic moment and I had just cum. I woke up but afterwards I was tired and wanted to sleep. I had another dream. In that dream I had a prom date with the girl who jerked me off, I went into the train to go the prom, I was standing in two lines both made up of women and she showed up and stood right in front me for the train ride. Than I saw a monitor and on it was this video of an ant blending into its surroundings and hiding in a sort of jungle. Than a spider went to eat the ant, but the ant was stuck in this cocoon, and when the spider tried to bite the cocoon, it exploded, and out a large centipede which ate the ant. Along with an accompaning phrase "it eats thee, consumes thee" Its kind of creepy because I dont talk to my mom anymore, I dont really like women, and the girl I dreamt of was this hooker that I lost my virginity to. She was very demeaning, when she was jerking me, she said "drip drip" and I felt like my horniness was taking over me. Almost like I cant stop it. Its complicated by the fact that I have an innate fear of masturbating, since i can only use underwear to rub myself, I often get to the point of cumming, and dont stop rubbing until I have an episode of 20 minutes or so of pure hell. I kinda think the message of the dream is that women and my sexuality is taking advantage of me. Everything is telling me to get a girlfriend, im spending too much money on the strip club and hookers, and when i masturbate i hurt myself. i dont even feel safe in my dreams, its like every other night im having a wet dream. And my mother, she and I have a complicated relationship, right now im not speaking to her and every night when im alone with my thoughts, i always want to talk with her and tell her how much i miss her

when i was about 4-5 i had a dream that i was in my grandmother's house, and it was dark, and i walked from the greenhouse to the living room, past the piano where a shadow was sitting, and then to the hall. i looked down the hall and saw my mom. i walked up to her but she wouldnt look at me. we were in the dining room adjacent to the kitchen, and she pointed to the cutout in the wall where you could look into said kitchen, and there was her boyfriend standing in dark robes with a scythe. he didnt see us. (for context, this boyfriend kept us locked in his trailer for months out in nowhere land, would let his dog tear up my precious possessions and make me watch, would do drugs in front of me, beat us, and once tried to choke me and my mother to death) when i looked back at my mom she was gone, but there was a stool where she had been standing, about eye-level with me. on the stool was a sticky note, but i dont think it said anything. i looked back at her boyfriend, and right as he was about to spot me, a whole bunch of white doves flew down from the ceiling and attacked him. i ran out of the house, got in my grandmas car, started driving away, and woke up. this dream has always stayed with me, especially not that i'm older and can fully appreciate how fuarrrking weird it is that my little underdevelped pea brain came up with such accurate and weird symbols when i had no idea what doves meant or what a grim reaper even was at that time. one more i had while i was staying at my sisters in seattle. this ones a bit weirder, but realatively tame for me. i often have very vivid, crazy, imaginative dreams and nightmares. in this one i was settling land disputes for different animals in my backyard, sort of picking out areas for a lot of different animals like lions and seals and such. they all got a little bit of land to lay down and live in, like about a little 3ft by 3ft area for each. then i got to the back of the yard where 3 cats were waiting for their turn. these cats didnt have any names, so i was supposed to name them. i named the first one alexander, the second one thomas, but before i could name the third one i woke up suddenly. i immediately burst into tears. i felt such an overwhelming sense of disappointment and sorrow, like i had let this third cat down, and he was doomed to an eternity of namelessness. the feeling stayed with me for days.

I was around 13/14 when I had an extremely vivid dream where I was just walking down the stairs and a tree fell down and knocked me into a coma I awoke either 5 or 7 years later. I remember seeing the people I knew all different and in college me being left behind. I then remember walking around some sort of town and I was floating on this completely still and extremely peaceful lake. This tension builds and snaps by the float breaking and me starting to going to go under water as I feel a girl kissing me. Next thing I remember is going to a large house with her and buying the house and I felt I loved her and I felt accomplished. Ending the dream. Never had another dream like that one.

(Sorry for my bad english) There are 2 dreams that I still can't forget, even if they are kinda old. The first one happened in a "normal" world. Then, two dragon-like creatures capable of destroying the world appeared, and I was able to defeat them and erase their memories. By doing so they turned into almost identical children, and I moved to an old apartment with them so they wouldn't remember about what they really were. Then eventually they grew and became old. I really loved them, and they really loved me. Then, I remember that I forgot my cellphone somewhere and when I got it back the dream ended. I woke up really depressed because I loved them as if they were really my children. In the second dream, I met 7 persons (6 boys and one girl) that eventually became my friends. Everybody in my dream was real, except for the 7 friends. We really had a fun time and eventually I fell deeply in love with this girl. Until, one of my friends was brutally murdered. I felt really sad, but that does not end there. One by one, all of my friends had brutal deaths, until there was only this girl and me. But, one day she disappeared, and I asked a person (that existed in real life) about her, and he told me that she did not exist. I became desperate. I started running in a random direction, and eventually found a door, and I found her next to the door. I knew that choosing to follow her would mean the end of my existence, mut I followed her anyway, and then the dream ended. Needless to say, I woke up really depressed.

It's hard to describe this one except I read a description of a dream in the novel Foucault's Pendulum that said it felt like "honey in the veins". There was a type of animation I used to see on TV, I think it was coloured sand moving around on a black background, and that's what this dream was "filmed" in. There was a prisoner, a monk I thought, trapped in the earth for centuries. Not in a cell underground but literally in the dirt. He fashioned a signal to release to the world above so that someone might rescue him. I didn't see any rescue but the hope of it came as a form of ecstasy. The form of the signal was... a carrot. It floated up to the surface where the right person might find it. It felt like this: https://youtu.be/9zoS8c_8hLQ ...perhaps not coincidentally, there is a carrot in the youtube pic and that is close to the texture the animation had.

In the next-to-last dream I've had about my high school crush, she gave me a really warm hug, and I woke up immediately afterward with very intense emotions. At this time irl I was in the last third of my STEM degree, so I was at a place where you could count how many girls there were on one hand, it was very refreshing to be hugged once again after many years even if it was just in my head. What was weird was that I'd have a dream like that even though the dream happened several years after I got over her, I guess deep down I'm still not over her 100% (sorry for the somewhat bad English, I'm getting sleepy)

>>282 i remember i had a really werid triple dream around 4 years ago. i fell asleep in the dream and then "woke up" in another place/dream walked around and then fell asleep in that dream as well. the third dream was really weird. i remember knowing my location, but the only thing i saw was darkness and blue and green dots around flashing. then i woke up from that third dream onto my original dream. my original dream took place in a hospital for some reason, so i woke up there and walked around for a bit and woke up completely. really trippy experience.

I was walking with someone who I could not identify, but was a trusted, loving friend. We walked beside a river through a warm, sunny forest with chalky earth and little fragrant herbs and flowers. It was completely unlike the basement I've been in for 3 years.

>>282 I dreamt a dream that felt like hundreds and hundreds of years passing. I went through different ages and places that would be considered as the past from now and later places that felt like the future. In all that time there was someone with me. Towards the end of the dream (which took place in the future as all that was left of humanity was on a massive spaceship) the person that had been by my sides for hundreds of years was stuck in a weird kind of sleep state. She was affected by a coma of sorts and I was unsure of how to wake or rescue her. I never cared for anyone as much as I cared for that person in the dream. It's impossible to describe with words how it felt to have spent so much time close to someone even if it was all an ilusion. When I woke up I felt the worse I ever felt. As if my real life was that dream, and I was stuck in this pathetic actual life. Imagine right now if the 20+ years you lived were just a dream and you woke up in another life tomorrow. Your parents, your significant other, just a dream. Imagine that now but with something that felt ten times longer than what you actually lived so far. After waking up I was completely detached from myself and my life, I didn't understand how to get back into reality, all I could think of was that person waiting unconscious. My friends didn't feel real, my family neither. I felt trapped and only wanted to go back there. Eventually the detachement faded and I felt back into myself and my life (it took almost a full week) but I'll never forget that person, or that dream. And every single time I go to sleep I hope to death to dream of that life and that world again.

>>282 There was a time when I was on Abilify and my brain didn't like it one bit. I could barely sleep and daytime felt like torture. So I stopped using it after like 4 days. Anyway I had strange dreams and the first night sticks out the most. After the first night the dreams weren't as fun anymore. So I was waking up 3 times that night and I had 3 dreams that I sort of remember. The first dream was me roasting this annoying bitch in my class and kicking chairs around in my class or something. The second and third time was just me walking around town. Stopping at a kiosk at a sunny day and buying something. Walking on this straight sidewalk on this green, humid, wet weather. I think there were trees around me and there was this huge building made out of metal. It was so peaceful walking around in my dreams in contrast contrast to the hell that was my real life. Love that dream.

I had a dream I was in a quiet street and it was a warm afternoon, and in the dream I had escaped at last abusive parents and I was safe at last. I was with a (platonic) friend of mine and her friend (named Anna)--she complimented me and told me I looked happier now. The front doors of the houses were all left open, and I felt serene and I went to relax on the bed; I stirred from rest (within the dream, that is) to find Anna tucked up against me. She was cold; I told her that I loved her, and she told me she loved me, then I drew her in closer and she seemed to curve into me, and I couldn't distinguish where she ended and I began. I was filled with an inner peace and I felt I had 'made it'. I woke up and I thoughtlessly meditated for about two hours, and all I could feel was a sense of general alignment and order. I felt properly happy for the first time in a long time. Sadly the abuse IRL continued on for a long time after that. That is the dream I remember most fondly of that year.

Towards the end of college there was this girl I knew. She was kind of awkward and didn't seem to talk to many people, but for some reason we got along extremely well, to the point where I sometimes think my time knowing her was the closest I've ever been to a relationship with someone. However, I made the dumb mistake of not keeping in touch with her after graduating, so I have no idea what she's been up to or where to meet her again. Anyway, some two or three years after leaving college, I encounter her in a dream. It was some kind of holiday, I think Valentine's day or something, and she walks up to me and gives me this big bag of candy (we'd often share snacks with each other back then). I respond by giving her a hug, which lasts for a good couple minutes. Then she whispers "I love you" in my ear, and I hug her even more tightly. I remember my thoughts being along the lines of "this is it, after being alone for so long I've finally experienced it, this is a new chapter of my life beginning, for once I feel like a human being," stuff like that. Having nothing better to do, we just walk around the area and enjoy each other's company. The realization upon waking up was one of the most painful things I had ever felt. I couldn't even bring myself to get out of bed until staying there any longer would have run me late for work.

>>282 I don't get how that's euphoric, it sounds like the total opposite. Euphoria is the highest of positive feelings, not usually associated with your family dying suddenly in a natural disaster. The most euphoric dream I ever had doesn't really make sense when I explain it but it involved a person trapped in the ground for years, maybe centuries, who found a way to communicate with the world above. There was an incredible feeling of hope because this person believed there was a chance of rescue now. Visually, the dream appeared as a stop 'n' go animation, of a kind I used to see on TV where instead of clay or Lego or something, the single frames were images made in coloured sand on a white background. The "message in a bottle" that rose to the surface was in the form of a carrot.

There was this girl I really fancied. We hit it off really well but my anxiety and awkwardness put her off and it more or less ended with a "you're a great guy but.." talk. It bummed me out but I could cope. A few weeks later I have this dream in which we're on a date in a park. It's beautiful weather and we are lying on a blanket by the pond. She's telling me how happy she is that we got together. I felt the biggest kind of bliss in my life, like I was wanted and somebody really cared for me. Like a warm blanket wrapping me. Like the Bright Eyes song. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQD5d_qBhzQ) But then I woke up, reality hit and it pretty much broke me. I cried and called in sick for work. It took more than a week to pull myself together. :(

And I remember I woke up and it was raining, my mother was at the neighbourhood's house and I came there in tears and desesperated to see my mom... And as you I still think of it... Of how I, as a child was feeling so impotent for not saving my mother from the monsters... It was fuarking terrible!!

One dream in particular that stuck with me the most happened around August or September of 2015. I was being rushed through some narrow space or tunnel, no details except for a vaguely blue hue surrounding me. Passing by me as I moved forwards were scenes that I didn't really have time to consider or interpret, but I knew them to be either my own memories or scenes from history, or maybe both. A circle appeared at the end of the tunnel, and as I got closer it appeared to be da Vinci's 'Vitruvian Man.' I passed through it, and found myself in orbit above the surface of the Earth. After a few moments in suspension, I began to feel a low rumble that built up and up, and I heard some great voice speak a single word from what sounded like everywhere. It felt like my bones were being shaken by the voice's power, and at the same time, the sun came up over the horizon of the Earth and its white light blinded me, and just as I felt completely overwhelmed, I woke up, sitting straight up in a cold sweat. From my description, you can tell that I don't really remember all of the details, but what bothers me most is that I don't remember what the voice actually said. All I know for certain is that it was some word or sound that began with the letter "R." For a while I thought it might have been 'Ragnarok,' the Norse version of the apocalypse, but I don't know for sure. I've had plenty of vivid dreams in my life, but never something as powerful as that.

>>282 I remember a dream from my childhood that repeated couple of times. The details are blurry but I was some kind of an engineer in an Ancient Egypt and made Anubis warriors for the pharaoh. Pharaoh tried to kill me but those robots shoot him with some plasmatic weapon instead, despite they didn't have any orders to do so. I still think that dream gotta have some deep meaning in my life. Well I also saw dreams where I was a girl but who didn't Present Day, Present Time! AHAHAHAHAHA!

This is a really weird one: I once dreamt of bunnyhoping IRL. I was doing some for-fun speedrunning of HL2 at the time and in my dream got chased by the police, and in order to gain speed I started to bhop. Turning my torso mid-air to strafe, it would have looked hillarous from a 3rd person perspective. I was extremely fast, outran (outhopped?) their cars but got stuck on some tree. The police came and I woke up. The feeling of bhopping was exhilarating. Faster than downhill biking, more fine-tuned control than skating and way faster. It was so amazing that I occasionally think about fully getting into speedrunning just to experience a dream like this again.

I've been going through a lot lately, life has absolutely flattened me with no hopes for the future, I think about dying every day, but this dream I had was so pleasant, it made me feel better again. I was sitting on the porch at my village at night, then after a while I looked above the sky and there were some lights and fractals changing shapes, colors and all, it was like the universe telling me how beautiful it could be. I'd probably be better off drawing this scene...

I had a dream I was on the Faroese, southern eysturoy specifically. I had just finished intense and passionate sex with my wife, and then went outside. It was wintertime, freezing outside and was being bombarded by very salty spray, but it wasn't cold to me at all. I sat on the rocks and just looked out to sea, as time began to accellerate and my POV became a time lapse of the environment. I awoke amazingly content and happy, and now I really want to visit there just to see how beautiful the landscape is with my own eyes.

I very rarely dream about anything but mundane, day-to-day activities. Sometimes when I wake up I have to mentally catalog 'things that actually happened yesterday' and 'things that happened in my dreams' into separate categories. Weird dreams only happen to me a few times a year with the exception of melatonin dreams. One that I don't think I'll ever forget was shortly after my father died when I was a teenager. I was sitting in a white void, with an awning overhead and my father sitting in front of me. I couldn't actually see him, just his outline, but I knew it was him. I could see him speaking to me, but I couldn't hear any words. I think I woke up shortly after. Thinking about it again now, it almost felt like a final goodbye. There's a bittersweet feeling it left me with that never went away and probably won't ever go away.

I was in a van with my family. My father was driving. We entered a car washer, but it was actually a trap set up by ISIS terrorists. They pulled my parents out of the vehicle and shot them right before our eyes. Then they put the van in a car crusher with us still inside, and started compressing it, the ceiling closing in on us. The dream ended right when i was about to die. It was very real, i felt a special kind of dread, terror and panic that i never experienced in real life. I think it must be what dying a horrible death feels like.

I was a soldier in one of the world wars (I think it was WWII). Me and a small group of people were in the ruins of some house in the middle of combat. It was dark and muddy, and the enemy was closing in on us. The people in my group started dying one by one, and I could hear the enemy approaching. I remember thinking something like "this is it, this is how I die" and felt terrified. I started to run, but turned around to see one of the enemy soldiers charging at me with his bayonet. I tried to shoot myself before he got to me, but I don't remember who was faster.

I once had a dream in which I was walking in a heaven like world but felt terrible fear, something was hunting me so I ran. I saw a light in the distance and a small broken ruin. When I arrived in this ruin I saw the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen, I cannot recall her age or features strangely but I remember that she was beautiful and that her hair was blonde. This woman was floating angelically and had a supernatural glow around her, I raised my hands towards her and she took hold of them. At this moment I felt the greatest euphoria and happiness i can ever recall within my life, I imagine that feeling I felt at that moment was reminiscent of heroin. Never had a dream like it again.
