Embrace it. When I first saw this thread, I thought it was gore spam, but can now appreciate how simple it was to get that reaction.

Bad is the wrong word, but I wonder why you picked black and red, and small spiky dots for the skin. If you actually wanted something more normal (and I emphasize 'if') then construction and more realistic colors would be easy wins.
I also think the biggest contributor to the 'horror' factor is the use of outlines (especially thick black ones) and heavy black shading. Do you have any more colors you can add to the pallate, or are you able to blend them?

"Terror"? Oh, honey, they couldn't be more wrong. What I see is a fine piece of work that embraces the dark side of art perfectly. The details of her skeleton showing and her heart are especially nice, as well as her eyes. People just hate what they can't understand.
If you ask me, this is a beautiful piece.

>>8174 ik i am no bad at drawing and such it is just that when i do it in my style and not realistically people do not receive it well, to me it is really much nicer than no matter how realistic or detailed painting i am capable of making, i never understood what people generally look for in painting

I like it. It seems like a well-executed style. You could probably paint some pretty cool yokai if you wanted.

>>8181 i doubt that i could make it again i have not painted since like sixth grade and i just thought few days ago about painting with what i have as i felt that more i allow myself to have fun with what i am creating more uncanny to people it appears is everything supposed to be generated

I'm reminded of Picasso and maybe Francis Bacon. You have a talent.
