>>5876 Nice. Never see anyone talk about this. But it's so unique. Never expected a post-apocalyptical robo-prostitute show to be so damn wholesome. It's the kind of stuff you'd show children, if not for all the weird BDSM scenes and the tentacle rape and gore monsters. It's the opposite of design by committee, I don't think they ever thought about a target demographic, it's straight from the heart.

>>5876 I remember finding a copy of this in a used book store.

I raise you another great experimental filmmaker, Arthur Lipsett: >21-87 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-tMhRKS9Jo Probably one of the best-known experimental short films. Heavily inspired the Star Wars franchise - see how many references you can find! >Very Nice, Very Nice https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5IMLnFQO2Y The film that got Lipsett recognition in his lifetime, attracting attention from Kubrick in particular. >Lipsett Diaries https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jUP8g3oKBU Not by him, but rather about him, by Theodore Ushev. BAO https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5CcgFTO274 In Toronto, Canada, a Chinese-Canadian woman, whose husband is busy at work, makes a steamed bun that comes alive. She raises the steamed bun as a child, feeding it meals. Eventually the child wishes to play soccer with the other kids, despite his mother's protection. As her son ages into a teenager and a young adult, he increasingly wants independence, while his mother wishes for more attention from him, feeling ignored. When the steamed bun introduces his new fiancée and announces his intentions to move out of his mother's house, his mother protests. The mother tries to stop the steamed bun from leaving, but he pulls free. In a fit of anger, the mother eats the steamed bun, after which she cries over what she has done. Later, the mother lies in bed, and her real son enters the room, revealing that the whole sequence was an allegorical dream. The son, resembling the steamed bun, is told by his father to apologize to his mother, as she ignores him. He enters the room, offering the same treat the mother gave the steamed bun, and as they share it, they both cry. Afterwards, the whole family, including the son's fiancée, make steamed buns, as they sit at the table watching television.

All these youtube links make me sick, have we really not all started using invidious by now?

>>10337 i do this in order to automatically let people choose the invidious extension. most of us use an extension that changes the link, so everyone gets to choose the instance. for example I always use yewtu.be but maybe others prefer puffyan or snopyta or even their own. if i posted yewtu.be though everyone would need to manually change the link

Internet Archive has a lot of full movies too.
