I like it but try to make the light more consistent, choose a direction the light comes from
if you have trouble with highlights just think in terms of spheres or look up reference

Why not just make a copy of the file before you continue working on it? Then if you fuarrrk it up you'll still have a version of it as-is before it got fuarrrked up.
