Gondola/Gondola-esk

Slightly niche thing but I'm hoping to expand my comfy collection. Gondola bread. Quick rundown is that gondola is just an observer; He interacts very little with his environments and prefers to stay where he feels most comfortable, wherever that may be. Some may depict him sitting alone, watching a beautiful sunset from the roof of a barn in the middle of nowhere. Some may imagine him as sailing the open sea on a boat, telescope at the ready, preparing for the full moon-rise. At times, some like to put more emotion into gondola by placing him around other animate beings. Gondola or not, the interactions tend to be simple, sweet, and comforting. While some dislike these personifying depictions, I welcome all depictions which includes talking, moving, sleeping, watching, playing, smiling, and in some cases even frowning. Some like to adapt the gondola aesthetic to a philosophical belief (Taoism is a common choice,) and any conversation or references to such connections are welcomed as well. I'd love to learn more than i already know about gondola, seeing as these depictions take up most of one of my drives. :P I have lurked for some time, maybe not enough, but i hope this should be a good enough OP and I hope this fits into the board.

My collection comes from various places. Most videos are from a 4chan thread I think. Most images are from twitter #gondolatwitter. There are a lot of artists who regularly do gondola art. Some come from a normal person streamer named Nymn's twitter feed. A good amount of them come from a furry art forum thingy. An artist there really likes drawing gondola. It's the that have oniontrain in the file name. I even have a couple I commissioned myself from twitter artists.

I think the the beauty of gondola comes from their simplicity and flexibility. They can be drawn easily or you could work on them for hours to make them stand out. They can be curious, melancholic, hopeful without having any facial expressions, just by absorbing the scenery. Also they look goofy. I think also since they are a bastardization of spurdo it kinda follows the maturation of an average netizen.
