Happy twentieth, Lain. Let's all love Lain!

Someone remembered. Good.

Not alone. Happy!

Let's all love Lain for the 20th Anniversary

Happy birthday Lain!

Happy Lain day!

さんじゅっさいの　おたんじょうび　おめでとう。二十歳のお誕生日おめでとう。 Happy Hatachi Lain!!!

Lets all love lain! She will be with us forever!

bôa celebrating Lain's birthday.

has there been any news about Despera after Chiaki Konaka's picture on Twitter with ABe? Maybe the 20th anniversary has given me new hope but I can't stop thinking about it recently.

>>2189 This was amazing. Thank you for sharing it, Lain!

>>2189 Holy crap! I don't know anything about the band but that was pretty cool!

>>2194 honestly it's unlikely it will get made unless they make some sort of crowdfunding effort, and even then it will probably only be enough to make a pilot so there's no guarantee it will ever go into production. Lain was greenlit most likely in part because evangelion had shown that weird shows can become profitable. But now we're too far from eva, and the industry has shifted focus towards quantity rather than quality. Mostly adaptations also, so high quality original anime is going to be rare. to be honest the only studio I can see picking it up is shaft, but they're really busy right now so who fuarrrking knows. It's a damn shame.

>>2202 Id reccomend checking them out if you like Duvet, I really love all of their music. Its a shame they only made 2 albums

>>2205 Not that anon but I'm doing as you adviced and holy crap, Twilight is an amazing song

>>2206 Im really glad you enjoyed it! Im happy anytime I get someone else to listen to their other songs.

>>2203 There's original anime all the time, like Hisone to Masotan, Megalo Box, Darling in the FranXX, Sora yori mo Toui Bash, Animegataris, Urahara... this season there's Planet With, Sirius the Jaeger and Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight. And adaptations aren't risk-free slam dunks either (Banana Fish is based on a shoujo manga that ended in 1994).

>>2189 That was wonderful. >>2194 Well, as far as I know ABe is currently working on a new TV series called "RErideD: Tokigoe no Derrida", together with Takuya Satou, who did a bit of storyboarding on SEL. Apologies if this was already mentioned in another post or not related to that Twitter picture.

Happy birthday lain-chan... Do you know that Animation lain is added amazon prime video in .co.jp, bro. I want to share this info, just want to share...

I'm late but let's all love Lain!
