Twin Peaks

I love how this show blends a lot of abstract ideas like government conspiracies, esoteric traditions, paranormal lore, and references to freemasonry and the illuminati all while maintaining air of genuine human soul

Twin Peak's my favorite show. Love the comedic surrealism combined with heavy themes. Laura's a modern-day Lxlita (can't say that word, apparently?).

>>11751 >Luara's a modern-day Lxlita Probably one of Lynch's best ideas was making the audience confront lust and youth. All the scenes with her and Donna in Fire Walk With Me do a good job making the audience uncomfortable modern day teen starlets.

someone brought up twin peaks and FWWM in parallel to serial experiments: lain one time when i was telling them about it. in spite of that i couldn't get into it. the first episode felt like eating unseasoned, bland chicken meat and i couldn't finish it

>>11756 It's worth it to stick with it, later episodes become very abstract and the symbolism is definitely on par with lain
