love exposure (2003) is a pretty awesome movie :p maybe my favourite of all time. All over just some of the best writing i've seen in Cinema in how consistent it is with it's themes and characters and it keeps you entertained for 4 hours straight.

It's not the sort of movie that makes literal sense. Lends itself to a coherent synopsis about as well as SEL. Like pottery. An ask two anons receive three different answers kind of thing. Just give it a watch and let it wash over you.

To summarise the first hour, the teenage son of a preacher joins a gang of upskirting delinquents in order to commit sins to confess to his father in order to earn his love. After losing a bet the son has to dress in drag as pic related and falls in love at first sight with a misandrist who hates all men except for Jesus and Kurt Cobain.
Now you have three more hours of movie to watch, enjoy.
