How can image processing be subversive?

It seems these days that the artist won't ever get credit for their work. With ultra reproduction of images inside and outside the Internet, it seems that the current used image formats (i.e. JPG/PNG) makes it easy for images to lose their original essence and meaning. Philosopher Vilém Flusser said that the real value of the image is in its information, and not in the object itself. Contemporaries would argue that computers need to reinforce that protection of the meaning, so we don't have what we have today: "fake" images being read as real images. But is that true at all? Is it better to try and create new ways of processing images or push that craziness even further, subversing the way images are spread like viruses?

Why is it that talentless midwits in existential fear always beg for dystopic information dictatorship? >blablabla blablabla make computers not allow people to do things normally maybe people who are so afraid of fake images, should just stop using computers.

>>11394 I agree, fake images should be allowed to proliferate so people stop believing everything they read online
