I have recently been hoarding old public domain art, particularly paintings in digital format. Maybe other 2D art forms like tapestries would also work. But does anyone store things like images of sculptures or architecture digitally? It bothers me a bit because it only captures a single side
Also, I generally name my files in a pretty restricted way with only alphanumeric characters and a couple others. What is a good way to name art files? I've recently done artist1850.shortname.png, where artist might be initials or a last name if recognizable. But maybe it should fully capture names accurately? And should it use original language or translation?
Also, post architecture or sculpture here
