Evangelion. Gendo Ikari The man knows his soykaf. He knows what he wants and just how to get it; and he does not wishwash and teeter totter, he makes the decisions and he accepts the consequences. Gendo is to me, the essence of action, an imperfect man making the best of a terrible situation, and creating, perhaps incidentally, an incredible outcome in spite of the odds.
