General Art Thread

Post some of your favorite art, anything goes.

anything by this guy, I just grabbed something from image search... Roberto Matta

I love DaQian's modern take on Chinese ink painting. He is also a master forger of traditional Chinese paintings, so he was an expert in traditional painting before expanding it with expressionism/impressionism.

I try to post relevant art along with all of my posts.

I have a small request to go along with it. This is an album cover. I really really like guro, and to be brutally honest I specifically like this piece because the girl is black. I guess you could say I enjoy diversity in all things, and my collection of guro art is severely lacking in subjects that are cute black girls. if anybody could guide me to some artists or art that fits what I may be looking for I would be very very happy. if not I suppose that leaves a niche for me to fill.
