This is /music/, the musical media board. The intent is that this board will be used to discuss audible media that is not interactive in nature. This includes all genres of music and audible media that isn't necessarily music, including podcasts, radio programs, and even what may be called noise.
This board is part of the /culture/ overboard; this means it's five pages and the overboard can be used to browse it with its related boards.
The creation of audible media is a suitable topic for this board. The development of scripts for programs or programmatically-generated audio may be more appropriate on the /lit/ and /λ/ boards, respectively. A thread in each or either board for this is reasonable and allowed. Discussion of audio concerning other media, such as a soundtrack, is considered most appropriate here, although this may understandably merely comprise part of a discussion concerning the other media and so may be more appropriate on a different board.
Do not submit or otherwise refer to audio that is purposefully startling or loud without proper warning. Failure to comply will result in a public ban indicating such or deletion.
If a large topic, such as a genre of music, already has a thread, try to use that rather than starting a new thread, if reasonable.
