This is /inter/, the games and interactive media board. The intent is that this board will be used to discuss and perhaps play games and any other media with interactivity, including video games, board games, CYOA activities, and even media such as films if they contain interactive elements. Any media with a dynamic and interactive element is allowed, barring media that merely randomizes itself without input from the audience or users and that would be more appropriate on another board otherwise.
This board is part of the /culture/ overboard; this means it's five pages and the overboard can be used to browse it with its related boards.
The development of video games probably belongs in the /λ/ board. The design of the mechanics of a game is appropriate here. A thread in each or either board for this is reasonable and allowed.
Exploiting flaws in games or software for hosting games may be more appropriate in the /λ/ or /sec/ boards, but is allowed here if considered more reasonable.
If a large topic, such as a game genre, already has a thread, try to use that rather than starting a new thread, if reasonable.
